About Analog DinRail Mounting SSR
carlogavazzi analog ssr RGC1P is a series of solid state contactors (with integrated heatsink) that give the possibility to control output
power of 1-phase loads with an analog control input.
Input types cover a wide range of current and voltage
ranges. Local setting by an external potentiometer is
possible. Switching modes, selectable through a front knob,
allow phase angle control, full cycle control, advanced full
cycle control specific for short wave infrared heaters and
soft starting for limiting inrush current of loads having a high
temperature coefficient. The output of the RGC1P is protected against overvoltages by means of an integrated varistor across the output. Two front LEDs indicate the status of the load and control.

Advanced Control FlexibilityThis SSR accepts both 0-10V DC and 4-20mA analog input signals, providing compatibility with a wide range of industrial automation and process control equipment. The phase control via analog input allows precise modulation of output, making it ideal for applications where variable speed or load control is required.
Durable and Reliable ConstructionEncased in high-strength polycarbonate, this solid state relay withstands harsh industrial conditions, including extreme temperature, high humidity, vibration, and shock. The integrated overload and overvoltage protection features further ensure longevity and operational safety, minimizing downtime in critical processes.
Effortless Installation and OperationFeaturing a standard 35mm DIN rail mount and screw terminals, installation is quick and straightforward. The LED indicator provides immediate visual feedback on relay status, while natural air cooling ensures quiet, energy-efficient operation. Its compact dimensions and standard DIN slot compatibility make integration seamless across a variety of industrial panels.
FAQs of Analog DinRail Mounting SSR:
Q: How do I install the analog DIN rail mounting SSR in my control panel?
A: The SSR is designed for effortless installation with a standard 35mm DIN rail mounting slot. Simply snap the relay onto the DIN rail and connect input, output, and supply terminals using the provided screw terminals. Ensure the relay is mounted in a well-ventilated panel for optimal natural air cooling.
Q: What input control signals are supported by this SSR?
A: This solid state relay supports both 0-10V DC and 4-20mA analog input control signals, providing compatibility with a wide variety of industrial controllers and automation systems.
Q: Where can I use this SSR in industrial settings?
A: The relay is suitable for industrial automation, motor controls, HVAC systems, and other applications requiring precise switching. Its rugged design allows it to perform reliably in demanding environments, such as factories and process plants.
Q: What are the protection features integrated into the SSR?
A: It includes overload and overvoltage protection, an integrated RC snubber for surge suppression, and a high-strength polycarbonate enclosure, safeguarding the relay, connected devices, and users from electrical hazards.
Q: How does the LED status indicator function?
A: The built-in LED indicator illuminates whenever the SSR is active, providing a clear visual signal of the relays operational status, which helps in quick diagnostics and monitoring.
Q: What are the primary benefits of using a solid state relay over a mechanical one?
A: Solid state relays have no moving parts, offering greater reliability, longer life expectancy (more than 10 million operations), faster switching (<10 ms operate time), and silent operation compared to traditional mechanical relays.
Q: When should I choose this SSR for my automation needs?
A: If your application demands high durability, rapid response, low maintenance, and compatibility with analog control signals, this SSR is an excellent choice for efficient and precise industrial switching.
